WHAT DO WE DO?
• Pair every enrolled student with a dedicated mentor (1:1)
• Mentors meet with their assigned mentee for up to 8 hours a month
• Students will receive emotional, social, and academic support through intentional
mentorship
WHO DO WE SERVE?
• Students in grades K-12 , 18 years and under
• Students in need of emotional, social, or academic support through mentorship
• Students who can benefit from positive adult role models and structured guidance
• Families may also enroll more than one child per household.
WHERE DO MENTORING SESSIONS HAPPEN?
• In-person: All Courage locations ( Stratford, Manchester, & Newington)
• Community at large ( libraries, coffee shops, outdoor parks etc.)
• Home sessions with a parent/guardian (18+) present for the entire session and
occurring in a common area
• Virtual/Hybrid sessions are available
WHAT ARE THE PROGRAM FEES?
• $65/week- 2 hours of mentoring per week
• $260 for month for a total 8 hours of individual and group sessions
• More than one child enrolled, the second child will be $60/week, $240 for the month
• If child is enrolled in weekly counseling sessions at Courage, mentoring can be
offered at $50/week
