KASSIDY BINGEL, LPCA
COURAGE COUNSELOR
STRATFORD OFFICE
(860) 785-6222
Kassidy Bingel is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate who earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Southwest. Kassidy is passionate about working with children and adolescents struggling with emotional and behavioral challenges, including clients who are neurodivergent (including autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and more) or gifted.
Kassidy’s approach is grounded in the principles of person-centered counseling and Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). Kassidy believes that healing happens within a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship. For children, this occurs through their natural language of play. For adolescents and adults, this may occur through traditional talk therapy, expressive arts, or sandtray activities. Kassidy strives to meet each client where they are at and create a therapy experience that best serves their needs.
When working with children (typically 13 and younger), Kassidy involves caregivers in their child’s treatment through regular caregiver consultations. During these consultations, Kassidy provides space for caregivers to discuss their child’s progress and acquire new skills to support their child at home and in other environments.
Kassidy is currently accepting new clients ages 2.5 to adult. She has morning, afternoon, and evening availability and looks forward to meeting you or your child!
