SUPRENA EVANS, LMSW

Suprena Evans is a Licensed Master Social Worker with over 20 years of experience helping individuals and families through difficult life challenges. She has extensive experience working with children, families, individuals with severe mental health issues, and victims of domestic violence and sexual assault.

Suprena received her Master of Social Work degree from New York University, a Bachelor of Science in Social Work, with a minor in Psychology, from Southern Connecticut State University, and an Associate degree in Human Services fromHousatonic Community College.

Her passion for supporting children, families, and individuals from various walks of life has been a driving force throughout her career. Suprena believes that helping others one person at a time builds stronger communities and raises awareness of mental health and traumatic events that can affect generations. She advocates, guides, empowers, and mentors them to advocate for themselves and support others.

Suprena has experience in Case management, Crisis Intervention/management, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness practices, and psychoeducation, to assist individuals in overcoming obstacles and reaching their full potential.
