Michael obtained his Masters of Social Work Degree from Southern Connecticut State University with a specialization in Co-Occurring Disorders. Michael has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Michael has a passion for helping others reach higher levels of psychological well-being. Michael utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing (MI) within a person-centered approach.

 

Michael has helped clients suffering with depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and trauma gain self-sufficiency, financial stability, and increased levels of mental health wellness. Michael has helped clients set realistic goals that were achievable for them, manage their stress, and discover their personal goals. Michael strongly believes in the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) ethical principle of the dignity and worth of each person. Social workers must treat each person in a respectful, caring manner and recognize the value of each and every person.
